In this episode, we talk about getting your deposit in your bank account. The important first payment, and how not to mess it up. Now that the proposal has been given a green light, they’re gonna have to pay, but who thought it comes with its own set of precautions.
My personal approach to how I do it. (and how a lot of agencies do it): 50% up front, 50% before migration.
I’ve seen people with different plans, but the fact remains that they all get a portion of the proposal upfront before work commences.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
- Do not get bullied or tricked into working before payment.
- Do not trust them.
- Try not to spend the deposit right away.
