TeamCode Website

This is a website for a miniature architecture model company.

So, this project is finished.

However, I can’t shake the feeling it could have been so much better.

(Disregard the images that went bad from scrolling, it’s parallax, and sometimes screenshots can get a bit wonky.)

I’m sorry to the client, but not too much.

Here’s what happened:

I think..

If you make miniature buildings and models, you could have had some really AWESOME photos.

I asked for better photos.

Better photos than ones taken on a 3-4 year old smartphone.

But then, the photo quality is not solely the problem of the gear, it’s more about composition and focus. Whatever camera you have in your hands, you can still come up with some good, usable photos.

However, in their case, they seem to be great at making miniatures, but not at all with taking photos.

That was so sad for me. I would have loved a chance to take photos of their work, and their office, but I work here in QLD, and they are across the equator, in Korea, so I couldn’t just “drop by” the office and take photos that I would like to use on the website.

Oh well. You make do with what you have.

Responsiveness is, of course, mandatory, and this time I went with a very minimalistic menu icon.

I like this look because it acts like an app, and it’s unobtrusive.

Their Company Page

This is basically the crown jewel. Wow. That took a very long time to get the design down for them to approve of it.

So many back-and-forths, and so many redesigns.

At least it’s done, and the client is happy. 🙂

Their Projects

As I’ve already lamented, their photos could have been so much better.

They do a great job, but the photos leave much to be desired.

Their Contact Page

Just a standard contact page. Yay
